My publication is based on the keyword ‘journey’, The interactive fold pattern and concertina binding of the book gets you to ‘unfold the journey’ of the main character as you read the book. My design maintains and references design details of the original book with red paper for the fold out pages and details in the cover. The compositions inside the book and the choice of paper represents the desert setting of the original book bringing out elements of its dystopian storytelling.
